Blog Archive Beyond the MBA Classroom Blind Dates at the Stanford GSB When you select an MBA program, you are not just choosing your learning environment, but are also committing to becoming part of a community. Each Thursday, we offer a window into life âbeyond the MBA classroomâ at a top business school. The Blind Date program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business was established in 2010â"2011 to help students meet and get to know more of their classmates. âYou sign up to say, for example, Iâm available for coffee at the following times and want to meet two new people,â explained a first year with whom we spoke. âThen an algorithm matches people. You might know them, you might not, but itâs a good way to meet people. I now know 250â"300 people in my class, in just eight months.
